Can't negotiate if the goal posts keep moving. The Russian starting point was problematic enough but when you add in the moving requirements of Ukraine and I arrive at just stepping away and letting the two sides fight it out. Of course this includes tossing this whole mess to the Europeans and letting them deal with the mess but that's just me. I see no solution to this thing and can only hope that the next winter is harsh, brutal and relentless. Only extreme pain and suffering at the highest levels will see them finally wanting peace.
