Great vids. Unless the Swedes will initiate a substantial SEP buy, however, I fear the SEP/Alligator won't see winning orders. The UK already has a FRES candidate, and the entire wheeled APC market is crowded as it is (Patria AMV, Boxer, the many cheap BTR variants...).
i totally agree. i've been extremely critical of BAE in the past but the concepts they're coming out with now..to include the alligator are blowing my socks off...
i really, really like the CV90 armadillo, i've always liked the SEP/Alligator and even the old BVS-10 is looking good...i'm even wondering if all of these vehicles should be considered for the Marine Personnel Carrier program...but the point is the market is saturated...i'm afraid that too little too late might apply.
I think with the new Conservative governments focus on purchasing weapon systems which have export potential and with the freezing of both the general FRES and FRES-SV procurement, I can see the Armadillo fulfilling the new SV requirement and the Alligator fulfilling the general FRES contract
