CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (June 4, 2010) Marines assigned to Bravo Company, 2nd Platoon of the 3rd Assault Amphibious Battalion (3rd AABN) conduct amphibious assault vehicle maneuvers on Red Beach at U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. during Dawn Blitz 10.   1. I missed this, but is Dawn Blitz MEU, MEB or MEF level?

    Regardless, great to see some Old School amphib ops...

  2. yeah, i'm digging the move back to amphibious operations. just a sign of things to come.

    i also like the move to training and interacting with the smaller european nations too. real smart especially the idea of working with the ones that feel pressure from Russia. I like it!
