ReplyDeleteI was not a perfect Marine having been UA after weekend libo (long story) although I certainly knew enough not to go UA while on deployment.
There seems to be a lot of conflicting info, even now, and some clarification is certainly warranted. They were apparently in an armored SUV without their body and weapons?!? They are both NCOs (PO2 and 3) which is strange. I haven't seen anything on their MOS that could explain being outside the wire in a two man team.
