That Navy Pilot seems pretty jazzed about the F-35. Add to it that he might have been briefed about some of its capabilities and its easy to understand.
Misleading the public?
I think this guy is sold and is ready to strap on the airplane.
The only Navy hornet pilot(retired)I know of, who has not been too enthused about the F-35, is on http://www.neptunuslex.com. One of his comments below:

A certain critic of the F-35 also happens to post there now and then.
I didn't think much about all the Navy pilot hearsay until Defesnetech and DOD Buzz mentioned it in passing. I don't know any Naval aviators, so I don't know what to think.
hey Drake1...yeah i know about NeptunexLex...but i'm not sure how deep his "anti F-35" leanings are.
ReplyDeletehe's really tied into the military blogging community and as we saw in the Michael Yon affair, they communicate internally, debate the issue among themselves and then come out with a common platform (well at least many of them do....i haven't been invited to that party---THANK GOD!)....
i bet if he got a classified brief, he's be on board.
