C-5M first flight.

Thank God this program is finally going.  We shouldn't have to rely on the Russians for outsized cargo.  Via Lockheed Martin.

    Some serious thinking has to be done regarding a (timely!) replacement. With 50t IFVs on the horizon, even the C-17 will be hard-pressed to airlift enough army vehicles, extra bridgelayers, assault breachers and (armored) logistics vehicles.
