I just found another of those weird little businesses that provides specialized military equipment but does it behind a veil of serving the needs of residential consumers. Check out NetStar Technologies.
Griffon has been building hovercraft for awhile now. Goto TD's link for their full model line. Kvichak is building the 2000TD under licensed in US. One should take at look at all the navies using the Griffons before dismissing them.
The other British company to take a look at is the older Brit hovercraft company BHC/Hoverwork from which comes an even better (for amphib ops) hovercraft the AP1-88 series operated by CCG and others. Some photos here:
That's a Griffin 8100-series hovercraft, so NetStar may just be a sales rep for the US or something.
ReplyDeleteGriffin is known pretty well, never heard of NetStar.
Duh, it's just an ICT company.
ReplyDeleteYep, its an 8100TD from Griffon Hoverworks
