i personally hated the idea of EADS making any of our planes. They are state supported from europe and what happens if we get into a conflict again and they cut us off from parts? i think we should have the ability to make all defense equipment here as backups but this big of a project needs to go to a US company. i must say i am slightly biased as i live in seattle here for last two and a half years and like the jobs it will sustain and create here and in Kansas but liked they picked boeing. i had less of a problem with northrop was with EADS but with EADS alone it didnt give me a good feeling.
Congrats!
ReplyDeleteNow puhleeze keep the program on time and on budget Seattle...!
As long as they've been producing 767s I'd think any delays would be almost criminal.
