Although I don't think it means much in terms of the health of the program, it is a positive PR move. As an a/c junkie (esp. naval aviation)it definately would have been a sweet surprise to have seen in person.
the explanation of how it happens gives me hope though. i agree that it means nothing as far as the program is concerned but the fact that it was part of a flight test already scheduled means that they're flying these puppies 6 days a week. and they just delivered another C model...this thing is picking up speed.
