David Cenciotti on Italian Call 2011.

I've got a soft spot for Southern Europe.  They're getting screwed by the North (Germany) yet still stay in the fight and are working their way through the drama.  Luv you guys...stay strong.  But I digress.  These photo's from David's blog are worth a look and there are plenty more.  Take a look.

  2. i'm not sure but i think the Brits did a rescue of a pilot with them sitting on the wheels of an Apache and its suddenly fashionable in Europe to practice rescues like that.

  3. well those guys have courage to be sitting on the outside of that apache! i am wondering what kind of harness they have, they have to be strapped to the helo somehow. i wouldnt want to just be told "get on and hold on, this could get rough!"

  4. @joe - I'd rather be told that than "The Chinook will be here in half an hour, would you mind dodging bullets until then?"
