I want to point readers to this passage in an article by Kit-Up....
So serving your country in a capacity other than Special Ops means that you're a lesser human? And you wonder why I cringe at the thought of the USMC getting closer to these guys!
I’ll continue to scour for some cool Foreign SOF stuff and post. Anyway, enjoy the video. The Danes have a solid program as you can see. Also worth mentioning that the Danish Prince is actually a Frogman. Good on him….Prince Harry could learn a few things from him I suspect.Wow.

Last I remember harry wasnt a Apache pilot. What I think they are refering to is how this guy put himself threw the rigors of the toughest branch of his military, a place that puts you shoulder to shoulder with your countrymen. That's not the same several thousand feet up in the air.(not taking away from his service, just not the same as being in the trenches)
ReplyDeleteLet's be serious I for one think we need more people in the us goverment who have actually served! We got Sen mccain, and webb who they are the minority. And last time I could recall I think 3 have children serving. Sometimes I think if you want to be in the goverment you should have to serve in some sort of military time. Only way to even have a clue what goes on.
John, Harry served as an FAC in Afghan but has now retrained as an Apache pilot as it stands a higher chance of him being allowed to return to theatre, since they won't let him back as an FAC again.
ReplyDeleteHats off to the lad, he and several other British Royals have served in conflict zones, and the majority have trained to.
