SNAFU! considers this coming election to be the most important in a COUPLE of generations. So stand by to be reminded of the painful reality that comes with a left wing party being given power. Also understand that this goes beyond race, nationality, gender or religious beliefs. This goes straight to competence. Also understand that my personal politics are more in the Ron Paul camp than those of the Republicans but reality (yeah that pesky little thing) indicates that I must support the lesser of two evils. This year that means supporting the Republican cause.

Mr. President I'm tired of defending you...SNAFU! Politics.

seems I've not voted for a winning president since Reagan was elected, the second time. I too would rather vote for Ron Paul than Mit Romney, as you said, the lessor of two evils.
ReplyDeleteWow, should have watched the video before posting my first. She is talking from a position of wanting to be in the Presidents corner, and yet finding that the reality of life is pushing her further from the goals that President Obama set out when he ran for office.
ReplyDeleteno Phil! your impression is exactly right. and its the one that applies here. no one wanted this guy to fail.
ReplyDeleteeveryone wanted the economy to be the focus of his and the Congress. but it wasn't to be. he wasted time...almost 2 years on health care. what he failed to realize and Congress too is that with a strong economy everything else falls into place.
just like the video talking to college students about the rock star president, this should be talking to every black, white, latino, asian, female, male etc in the US.
we gave this guy a chance and he fucked it up. time to give someone else a go.
Don't get me wrong, I didn't vote for Pres. Obama because I felt he was the wrong man to steer us out of the mess we were in regarding Iraq, and Afghanistan, as it turns out in respect my instincts were correct. To be fair to the Pres. he did inherit a time bomb waiting to happen, vis a vis the stock market, and it's failing. The market would fail, whether he or Sen. McCain were elected to office. And your correct, no one should want him to fail, in so doing (failing), the United States in turn fails.
