You have got to be shitting me! From Buisness Insider!
We have US Marines assigned to the Black Sea Rotational Force teaching our allies, the Georgian military, how to repel an attack by these bastards and now we're gonna teach them our stuff?
Leadership failure.

Russian paratroopers will meet up with American forces next month for an unprecedented military exercise in Colorado, according to RT News.If that isn't bad enough then check out this video.
It's the first time Russian service members will be invited into the United States for a joint drill.
A Russian airborne task force will "exercise with U.S. special service weapons," an announcement by Russian Defense Ministry spokesperson Col. Aleksandr Kucherenko revealed.
The official purpose of the joint training is to practice airborne tactics and anti-terror operations, such as dropping into a hostile area and conducting a "terrorist camp raid."
"Soldiers of the two countries will hold a tactical airborne operation, including reconnaissance of an imaginary terrorists' camp and a raid," said Kucherenko.

Russia’s most senior military officer said Thursday that Moscow would preemptively strike and destroy U.S.-led NATO missile defense sites in Eastern Europe if talks with Washington about the system continue to stall.
“A decision to use destructive force preemptively will be taken if the situation worsens,” Russian Chief of General Staff Nikolai Makarov said at an international missile defense conference in Moscow attended by senior U.S. and NATO officials.
The threat comes as talks about the missile defense system, which the U.S. and its allies insist is aimed at Iranian missiles, appear to have stalled.
“We have not been able to find mutually-acceptable solutions at this point and the situation is practically at a dead end,” Russian Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov said.
They play hardball we acted like pussies.
Ignore words, note actions.
ReplyDeleteRussia might talk tough in Europe, but all of its new kit is positioned east firmly against China.
When was the last time it wargamed a push to the Rhine?
All its big ones in the past few years have centred on the defence of Vladivostok
i am constantly amazed at the understanding that is always extended toward these bad actors. China, Russia, Pakistan and a host of other countries can act in the most despicable ways possible and there is always someone ready to explain away the actions.
ReplyDeletewhy can't we just call a spade a spade. the Russians are fucking nuts, we shouldn't be working with them and we need to get ready to bomb the sorry bastards back to the stone age!

ReplyDeletei don't know why you keep coming here you little faggot...go fuck your mother or your dog...which ever smells better.
ReplyDeleteDid I not just read an article today about how the same Russian Defense Minister said that if we don't reach an agreement on missile defense that Russia will attack our Patriot Missile sites in Poland?
ReplyDeleteits up there...
ReplyDeleteThe Russians aren't "fucking nuts". Everything they do, foreign policy wise, has clear goals. Why do they support the regime in Syria? Back in the Cold War, American State Department officials often supported dictatorial governments. As they said, "(insert dictator here) might be a son of a bitch, but he's our son of a bitch". Think of Pinochet. This continues today. Egypt's Mubarak was our SOB, but we abandoned him. The Syrian dictator al-Assad is Russia's SOB, and they don't want to give other potential SOBs the idea that Russia will abandon them. Why did they attack Georgia? Cause they could. Georgia was being pesky, and they knew they could get away with it. The US was in no position to do anything, and Europe definitely wasn't. In fact, Europe will very likely become more dependent on Russia, since many European nations (like Germany) are abandoning nuclear energy for a variety of stupid reasons. The Russians certainly aren't nice, but they aren't nuts.
ReplyDeletethere SOB? the Russians are a repressive nation thats taken a bit of capitalism and because they've taken a 'bit' of capitalism they're being kissed up to by the investor class in the west. if we weren't so money grubbing everyone would call them what they are...arrogant, spiteful, repressive and a threat to freedom. the only reason why they have a strangle hold on western europe is because those useful idiots...the green party is wanting anything but domestic energy production.
ReplyDeletebut to each there own. i only worry about our friends. Georgia being one of them. you call them being pesky, i call it them defending themselves. i'm amazed that a country can be attacked and the one attacking can be called reasonable. oh and please. no moral equivalency here.
I never said Russia was a good place to live. They are repressive. Their government treats the people like shit. I'm just saying that they aren't nuts. They can do this stuff because they know that nobody is going to stop them. This isn't the US, where politicians can be voted out if they do truly stupid shit. And this isn't some third world tinpot dictatorship that can be deposed by a coup d'etat or invasion. They get away with it and they make tons of money. Good? No. But nuts? No.
DeleteI was glad that Georgia gave them a bloody nose though. For a small nation with a military growing our of its infancy they did a fantastic job. They modeled themselves after the corps and are going to have a great military when their done. Glad they've been deploying with marine units in afgan theve been doing very well
ReplyDeletewhy is everyone so quick to forgive war words from Russia. they're not talking to Georgia or Pakistan. they're directing these words towards western europe and US military installations.
ReplyDeleteliberals are so naive.
its really annoying how situationally ethical you all are. a chinese activist is being thrown under the bus and no one cares because china 'is our banker'...well guess what, they sell goods here and if we got into a trade war there govt would collapse. an embargo for a year would change the world, but no one wants to be honest about that communist country or the russian totalitarian state because they're BRIC countries.
you're all a bunch of ferengi's from the star trek series. you'll sell your souls for either gas from russia or a worthless bauble from china.
Russia is nothing but hollow words, the BS about the chinese activist is made up by politicians looking for easy points, china doesnt war with us, they dont have the navy nor do they want to fight india, vietnam, australia, new zealand and japan along with us. nothing but hollow words from dying powers.
ReplyDeleteohh God.... nothing changed since Cold War times. hey people , ther's 21th century outside your houses not 20th. it's time to forget stupid stereotypes and reconsider our relathionships. Both Americans and Russians are great nations. why can't we just live together in peace and worrying about more dangerous things instead of the long enmity ???
