Developed nations won't buy weapons from China because they are plagued with the label of cheap plastic crap, horrible reliability, and most of the time Russian knock offs. China will keep selling its junk to rogue states and poor african countries, no real threat here. Russia has its own internal defense issues, mostly surrounding the fact its military doesn't work and will forever be crawling out of its own tepid modernization efforts. It is quickly losing their largest and most trusted defense partner, India, because they are tired of receiving a sub standard product with extremely poor service and reliability. The T-90 as far as we are concerned is not a battle tested MBT, and is a close continuation with the T-72 which is far beyond the point of being obsolete. You can only upgrade relics for so long...
