This guy is running an interesting setup that I thought had gone out of fashion. I wonder what force he's with?
If someone has real deal knowledge of what this particular setup has over the one below then please let me know!
you dont lose cheek weld when you go from the magnifed holo sight to just a holo dot, where with the acog/red dot to use the dot you loose some good rifle postion.
ReplyDeletei really enjoy that set up on my own rifle and wish i could use it on my issued m4
seems like it would be alot less robust with the flip out magnifier. i use the acog and just shift eye position...no loss of cheek weld....hmmm.
ReplyDeleteyou use your fixed sights to cowitness don't ya?
i was worried about the flip out when i first got it, but after my daughter knocked my rifle over ontop of it and it was just fine i stoped worrying about it. as for cowitness sights, I wasnt untill i went to Carbine 2. its a intresting setup thats somewhat growing on me everytime i use it. Its fun to have my own set up and then use what i have at work. they both have stregths and weaknesses.
