The pictures here are the prototypes of a Mobile Camouflage System developed by Barracuda for the Australian Army. The project was a $4.5million contract but as soon as the prototypes were delivered the Australian Army cancelled the contract as they had proof the capability existed in country and there was no need to continue with the rest of the project. SAAB Barracuda was forced to close it's Sydney operation. A year later the tanks were given a camouflage paint job by a Darwin panelbeater. Thus in just three years the Rudd/Gillard government was able to close every Australian camouflage business without loosing any public servant positions.
Dang, my M1 never looked so good :)
