UPDATE:
MDB (thanks buddy!) says its a Mk-18 Mod 1 CQB. Time to get the stats so I can build one. $200 tax stamp here I come.
most likely hk416
ReplyDeletehmm. what is the military designation if you know. i'm seeing a bunch of super short barrelled rifles and i'd like to read stats on them.
ReplyDeleteMk-18 Mod 1 CQBR
ReplyDeleteAWESOME! has anyone tried to build a civilian version?
DeleteYup. Mk.18. If you're going to do it, go either the routes of Noveske, Daniel Defense (holder of the current Mk.18 contract) or Lewis Machine & Tool (holder of the previous contract before DD got it --- though both are supplying CRANE with uppers still, regardless) in regards to the upper.
ReplyDeleteCommon suggestions say Noveske as the best lower to fit the category. Or just do a full DD/LMT build. I would recommend LMT first though.
THANKS WILL! question though. i've heard nothing but good stuff about Noveske...why would you recommend LMT instead?
