The really sick thing about this is we now know it has nothing to with what happened in CT, if it did Obama would be focussing on mental health care as the public want him too*. Instead the liberals are renewing their attempt to butcher the constitution and disarm the law abiding by replicating a previous ban that is universally considered to have been a failure. This is ideology, it is not emotion driven, it is not driven by free thinking it is instead a ruthless manipulation of understandable shock and anger to attack American freedoms.

i dont think anyone needs a semi/full auto rifle, to defend themselves, handguns/bolt action rifles/pump action shotguns, should be more than enuf.
restrickting to law enforcemnt, the sale of "more deadly amunition", tumbeling, hallow points etc etc etc. banning the sale of high capacity magazines.
more stringent checks, mental health checks, registering the sale of amunition, laser etching/tracking of bullet/cases or primers for those who make there own, so each round can be tracked to the end purchaser.
