I always though high angle of attack maneuvers like this were the most impressive demonstrations.
I once watched a video from LM of an F-22 at an airshow that was narrated by another LM test pilot. It was amazing to watch a multi-ton aircraft travel, according to the pilot, at about 70MPH with it's nose pointing in the air just like your first pick here.
