Heh. I know that was just a stab at humor Christian, but let's be clear. If the kernal of the X-142 idea was a product of German innovation in WW2 (and I'm not convinced it was) it would have been acquired like much other then-advanced German aeronautic information: via entirely legal war reparations. Hazards of starting a war and failing to win it, eh? Or if you'd like, we could think of it as down payment on the Marshall Plan. Everyone's done alright in the long run, with East Germany the last to benefit, but benefit none the less. So all's well that ends well.
