The above pic is via TACBLOG and if you didn't notice it let me get you up to speed. That G36 has a MagPul Mag sticking out of it. If the G36 is now MagPul compatible (or more likely the case, its a 4th Gen MagPul mag that will work in H&K products) then the USMC can come off the MagPul ban and let Marines carry magazines that work.
Note: Some are saying that this is just airsoft at work. If it is then this guy is hardcore into it. I'm still betting its the latest gen MagPul.
Well, Magpul is making PMAG's for the G36. You can find them in the online shop of Magpul. It is not totally unrealistic that the KSK is using it.
ReplyDeleteIts a normal Pmag but he's using a magwell adaptor. The changeable magwell was a G36 original design requirement. There are a number of pics of German KSK using Pmags and STANAG mags in their G36s. There is also an airsoft magwell to use airsoft STANAG compatible mags but it leaves the G36 mag release lever in place which the real adaptor doesn't. You can also see the ribbing of a normal Pmag in the pic which rules out the Pmag 30G
