This type solicitation, at this time in our nations history, during the current debates seems designed to produce some type of reaction from the citizenry.
I hope no one falls for the psy-ops and I hope this is just stupidity on the Feds part.

yes, they expect a war, an internal war over the disposing of the Constitution and Bill of Rights and most likely installing a permanent POTUS Obama for life or at least a permanent democrats in charge government. What ever the reason and it seems to be in common .40 S&w JHP so it's not for an external threat/war unless the Geneva Conventions are also dumped with the Constitution/BoR these are Police rounds for Police who don't have to fear a war crime trial at the Hague nor an Eric Holder who would bring criminal charges.
These rounds are meant to kill American's in a Civil police action.
It could also be the Military just getting ready for a pistol/ammunition change away from the M-9, the components probably do not count as military rounds due to the JHP and those components can be broken down and re-rigged to milspec.
The DHS is expecting a war for sure, the mystery is who will they be fighting in America.
We already know who the democrats believe are the terrorist.

To the the guys that seem more reasonable like Grim and Joe, how much ammo did the Feds buy during the early 2000s or 90s? I mean, the numbers are huge but maybe they have been buying this much forever...
