ask the S. Korean island civilians and Marines that got shelled if artillery from anybody eats shit. artillery will fuck your world up. Mattis told Marine Air before the kickoff of Gulf War 1 to go after artillery...Ground forces could handle Iraqi Tanks but we needed air to kill the artillery because Russian artillery outranges our own. only our MLRS has more range.
Is it just me or doesnt Kim Jong-un look like a cheap knock-off version of Blofeld ? I dont know what the north koreans are looking for but i dont like it...if some big ass war happens in the next few years it will be because of these bastards...mark my words.
Those extremely long barrel guns are 170mm/87cal M-1978/M-1989 aka Koksan. They are mounted on turretless chassis of Chinese Type 59 tank. Impressive huh. Maximum range is easily beyond 60km when using rocket assisted projectiles.
They all look pretty in exercises, but when they go operational they eat shit.

ReplyDeleteInfantry may be the Queen of the battlefield, but Artillery is the King.
DeleteAnd it is well known what the King does to the Queen.
Ummmm ... Nice pics. I can see them the arty exercises are fired from an agricultural field ... and it's barren.
ReplyDeleteIt's still Winter in the Northern latitudes. There aren't going to be any crops in the field for another few months.
