I never knew the Brits and the Krauts both had mechanized battalion sized training facilities in Canada during the Cold War. The Krauts closed their mission down in 2003, but the Brits keep going.
I wonder why we never sent or send more forces to Canada as well to promote interoperability/familiarity?
Considering all of the work we did with the Canucks, it would make sense.
