Emergency beacon for locating the vehicle if it sinks. Buoy floats to the surface and is highly visible against the water. Attached to the vehicle via cable/wire so divers can follow down to the sunken vehicle
SuperAv and Guarani are indeed very similar. The driver and commander`s positions, the hatches, the retractile snorkel, the inclination when floating to the right and even the little pins for add-armour attachment.
We can see some similarities in this short video about Guarani's tests.

Deletedoubt it. why would you put an rws behind the tc's hatch? well if it were a big caliber machine gun maybe but it would block the hatches in the back.
