BAE Marine Personnel Carrier.

Sweeeeeet!

Smart marketing too (at least to the Marines in their audience)...linking the history of the FMC corporation that they bought and tying it all in to the current organization is beyond smart.  Its brilliant.

  1. oh well, it may or may not be in service until 2030, it has to beat the Havoc.......

However, if we JUST cancelled the F-35, the USMC would INSTANTLY have the cash for this, the ACV, 250,000+ Marines, new Harriers (which of course need a production line restart), M! upgrades, ect. Who gives a shit about things like "SAMs" and integrated air defense systems. They are overrated anyway. The Super Hornet just needs a VSTOL variant and the USMC would be all set to take on the PAK-FA and the J-20......

    1. Also, the Super AV looks like a rollover accident waiting to happen.

    2. you need an F-35 program cancellation :)

the money would flow unbidden into the USMC and all would be right with the world.

EVERY SINGLE other DoD procurement would go perfectly, even the V-22

    3. Boo hoo,

look, the USMC isn't going to be taking on any power with an integrates air defense system or Pak-Fa or SAMs, that's the Navy's and USAF's job.

the USMC is supposed to support USMC infantry by providing local air superiority and CAS.
