French-Russian Wheeled IFV? via Robert.

Many thanks to Robert for the pics!

Not much on this vehicle, but Robert says that its a "reskinned VBCI" armed with a 57mm cannon(?)(!) and that its definitely NOT Boomerang.

You're looking at a formidable vehicle if this ever becomes more than a concept.  I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

  1. Yep Russians like big guns, should punch holes straight through most western vehicles. Will be interesting to see how the system develops.

    1. too bad that 57mm gun will have maybe 100 rounds of ammo.

Plus, when it encounters a REAL tank, those 57mm shells will bounce right off.

    2. But until then it will rape every western APC/IFV it encounters and knowing the Russians they probably already want to stick 4 ATGMS on it. And I am sure they would field a variety of different caliber cannons and weaponry systems on their IFVs.

  2. Jeez! It resembles a WW2 Panther tank on wheels!

  3. Off-topic.

Hey Solomon, check out some nice pics of Chilean armoured forces. They got a respectable force.
