I hope they make the compartment hatches and other walking areas wide enough for a soldier with a full pack to move through the ship. This will at least offer some value after the ship gets declared a helicopter carrier.
As the General Kesselring (Shaw) said in that Hank Fonda battle of the Bulge movie when shown tanks models of his next Panzer Corps, "At least we know Germany is still the best toy makers in the world" Or, Dang them there Englishter's can sure draw purty ships! The finished product will be lucky to even resemble a ship much less a Gator freighter. Nice Graphics though!
I believe here is already sufficient space for soldiers to move around as the ship was originally designed to embark an additional 200 soldiers with a full crew and air wing. Although unfortunately if the soldiers wish to embark on any landing craft there is no access ramp and they will be forced used to use the large access stair at the rear of the ship.

It will be lucky to resemble a ship? How come? The construction of Queen Elizabeth is on schedule and we could’ve had the ship already built and on-budget if those pesky politicians kept their filthy fingers out of it!
Plans go awry, what was once a well designed warship can become a barge with no hope of surviving combat outside a simulator. You've seen it, I've seen it and I am sure there are examples everywhere, Ahemmm no offense but Hood and Arizona come to mind. Magic BB's and all aside. I actually wish Them best of luck and god speed.
