Above is a photo of one of the motorcycle "gang" that terrorized a family in supposedly safe New York. The driver of the vehicle being terrorized did the only sensible thing and fled, using his car as a weapon.
I don't like the idea of a young man being paralyzed, perhaps forever but he was part of a mob that was harassing people. I don't know if this is Karma but it sings.

ReplyDeleteopen carry and you're approached by 3 people and they can disarm you before you can justify shooting them. decision cycle, reaction time, physical fitness etc make open carry a fools errand. law enforcement keeps taking down the vids but they could do a public service if they showed the vids of prisoners practicing disarming police.

I can maaaaybe see that if new york had a concealed carry law the maybe everyone may have started this story a little more courteously.

That makes no sense especially in this case, did you see the shitbirdmotruck that guy was driving? The windows were completely blacked out. A I'd doubt a pepper spray or pepperball would help much with them all wearing full-face helmets. Open carry Is for better or worse your right in a lot of places but its Not a good idea.
In NYC you know how bad Thugs are. If you knew, you would carry something to defend yourselves. But in NYC and NY state, they are trying to disarm law abiding citizens and making it easy for criminals. I'm all for the right of Self Defense.

Is maybe that where you are coming from in your support of open carrying? I'm just trying to understand because it doesn't make sense to me to open carry unless you performing military or police duties in uniform or something.

only part I don't like about that is that the one who seems to have instigated the whole thing is apparently fine. I don't know what the paralyzed guy's role was but someone else started it.
DeleteThe guy who instigated it got arrested. This fella stopped in the middle of the road and when the shit went down he got run over. He shoulda just kept riding. Or at least park on the shoulder before trying to dismount and assault another driver.

yeah...he should have kept riding but he decided to be bad ass and paid the price. but you're right...i don't give a fuck...additionally the guy that got arrested by NYPD wasn't charged. detectives say that they were pressured just to arrest someone in the group because politics was so intense on the bad guys getting arrested. so the scum bag that caused it all is still at large.
