I hope you guys are subscribed to
American Mercenary's website. Good info on a variety of subjects but he's been killing it with his workout advice. Meanwhile, I've been doing my thing in the gym and grinding on this no carb diet. Its definitely paying off but the lust for something sweet continues.
I found the cure via Fitness World. Check this out....

Most people think making protein ice cream is some kind of a complicated process. It's actually pretty easy, you don't even need an ice cream maker or any other fancy shit.
All you need is:
•1 Tub of 2% Greek Yogurt (500 grams)
•1/2 Cup of Whey Protein Powder
1. Get a big ass bowl, mix those 2 together until they're smooth and creamy.
2. Spread it all over the bowl to maximize surface area.
3. Throw it in the freezer for an hour.
4. Take it out and mix it again.
5. Back in the freezer for 30 min.
6. Release your inner fat kid.

I'm going to try it! Have been on a low carb diet for a couple of years, lost close to 50 lbs. Put back about 15 lbs when my dad passed away this year, was really tough. Lost about 7 lbs in the past 2 months, want to lose 8 more by the end of the year. I don't crave too much sweets, ok, sometimes I would kill for chocolate but I really miss bread, pasta and rice. Haven't had a pizza in more than a year!
ReplyDeletesounds good. one of my favorites is maple and brown sugar maple and peanut butter. I know you are going low carb, but when you are done give it a try. I have a background in wrestling, football, mma, blah, blah. But no b.s. after my thyroid went tits up and I was putting on lbs this workout was like a blow torch with fat - Insanity workout. Highly recommend.
ReplyDeleteI managed 2lbs a week for 6 weeks without anything extreme, mostly no beer or sweets, but have just flat lined for the last month or so. Moving soon, so I'll get back on it when I can get my gym set up again.
ReplyDeleteNice desert idea, does it last in the freezer?
