I had a great martial arts instructor by the name of Sensei Buck, great man, did a lot of good in the San Francisco area. Any way, his wife could have given any guy I've ever met a run for their money. Having said that, she was in incredible shape, (unlike the Army fighter). Army was lucky he didn't go downtown on her, he would have knocked out her ovaries
ReplyDeleteskill will only get you so far against brute strength though. a guy thats in good physical condition...or is able to handle the stress of the field or combat better because of physiology will still have a God granted advantage over a female of similar weight. we're just built that way. additionally women better be careful. they were once the protected species, but now with all this gender "equality" (which it isn't because standards are being lowered to make them equal) they're going to lose that status. remember the term protect the women and children? why? women are now combatants. that means that only kids should be protected and even some of them are combatants. society has been placed on a total war footing all because of the feminist movement. fuck a female if she expects me to hold open a door for her. and fuck the bitch ass males that get butt hurt because i feel this way.

ReplyDeleteToo many people play video games (or watch movies, or read books...) where a petite, good-looking young woman beats the shit out of 3 or 4 burly guys with no problem. Unfortunately, that Army gal (who must have watched Scarlett Johannsen in "Ironman II" and "The Avengers" wayyyy too many times) got a hard lesson in how real hand-to-hand works. Speed, power and aggression, that's about 60% of fighting, with skill being the other 40%.
ReplyDeleteOutside of watching Ryan Dunn getting his ass handed to him by a female muay thai kickboxer on the movie "Jackass," I have yet to see a fight between men and women where the skill levels were roughly equal that didn't turn into a one-sided bludgeoning. Hell, I trained at Greg Jackson's in Albuquerque for four years and even the female fighters there weren't stupid enough to challenge guys to a full-on boxing match. Grappling is a different story, skill plays a bigger part and guys can get caught in a choke or a joint lock fairly quickly. Striking is a whole different ball-game, as this video shows.
I wonder how many Marines won some money off that fight...

ReplyDeleteyeah. the little son of a bitch would piss his pants at the first act of violence directed his way. i really have to wonder about the young men that are coming up these days. i really believe they've been feminized to such an extent that the only real men left in the future will be the hardened criminals and the guys that take them down.
Deletewhich makes me wonder out loud about something. if the US military goes the way that i think then perhaps law enforcement will be the last true bastion of masculinity left. think about it. if we are really going to a complete reliance on airpower then that in essence feminizes the military because it become technical, not physical. that means that only LEOs will be the guys meeting the enemy in the dark and fighting them one on one...in some cases that is.
its weird but that might be the short term place of warriors until total war is declared.
