    1. Yeah, he would be dead. Or police officer would be dead, or hospital stuff would be dead... AR-15 save your anus!

  3. Whoha... in the middle of article I was almost sure that those lunatics will order to get that man on operation table and cut him open. This is just sick.

  4. "Doctors at Members Memorial Hospital refused to cooperate, however, telling officers that the search would be unethical."
This should have been their first clue.

"Doctors knocked him out and gave him a colonoscopy"
This. This right there. Those Doctors (and likely nurses) responsible for this violated just about every medical oath in the book, right there. No medical procedure is done without consent, be it stated or implied. I'm a medical professional myself (paramedic) and there is NO FUCKING WAY I would get myself tied up in a shitstorm like this, other than the cop physically putting a gun to my head.

"the hospital stuck Eckert with the bill"
    OH COME ON!

The worse part about this is that EVERYBODY will get sued. The police department, the hospital, and each individual involved. The taxpayer will end up paying the huge settlement. The medical staff will likely get fired and lose their license to practice. The cops... Will likely get a paid suspension and a harsh letter.

  5. Why no X-ray of the abdomen? Non-invasive and the most reliable system of detection. This whole episode really sounds like a joke. Surely not true.
