It's about damn time. The military has been trapped by the pneumatic tire v. tracks dilemma for too long.
wheelchairs have had airless tires for a very long time, much smaller tires but still same thing, plastic insert under the rubber! makes for a hard fucking ride but takes pain of flats away.
Will it flex in freezing temps ? Will it go 'flat' in 125 degree F desert temps, 150 surface temps ?How many miles before fatigue sets in ?Not a new idea...
