With the Navy's future Laser based weapon systems, im wondering when we will see a larger version used for this application. Ground Based you could see a huge power system and Sea Based just gives you a farther reach.
I also feel like Star Wars was never cancled. America does what it wants, im sure we have a few laser sitting over head, and honestly wouldnt be surprised to see a few Railguns up there soon.
totally agree. and thats really the kick in the ass part of the defense budget. what is going on with the budget thats off the books? how much top secret stuff do we have that could probably vaporize nations without the loss of one American troop? boggles the mind.
