Shooting at Ft. Hood.

News is slow in coming but at least two people have been shot and at the time of me writing this the shooter is still at large.

Ft. Hood is snake bit.

Interesting isn't it.  The FBI and Army Intel had put out an alert about a Ft. Hood style jihadist and then later in the evening retracted it.

Additionally we can't forget about the shooting aboard the docked ship.  Is there a connection.

More to come.

  1. I got a novel idea. Allow trained warriors to carry weapons (concealed since it is so controversial I suppose to allow soldiers to carry weapons).

In one fail swoop of a pen our bases will go from targets to "getting in is no problem its the getting out".

    1. There is always a risk of blue on blue or whatever you want to call it, but the number of wounded or dead would still end up being less. Like most as soon as this guy was meet by an armed person he turned the gun on himself..

  3. The one that turns to keep shooting others after his one on one shootout.

Even so that scenario is garbage because a lone wolf shooter is not going to be shooting it out with someone he will have the advantage of surprise so he will turn and start shooting people, at that point everyone else around will know who the bad element is and return accordingly, This guy ran around for 15 minutes while people ran for cover shooting people.

Just like all the other mass lone wolf shootings we had shooters walking around shooting people that were unarmed and either hiding, fleeing, or having to take a fist to a gun fight. You cannot put a cop everywhere all the time, you cannot hire security for every mass gathering. The answer is getting trained armed people in as many places as possible. Allowing soldiers, police, maybe even fire and then of course your random civilian volunteers to carry gives you armed men in numbers and locations even the US gov wouldn't have enough money to place.
