Note: Check out the size of the F-35! Space on the USS America Class and Queen Elizabeth Class carriers is going to be at a premium! Size alone will limit the number carried...even if it somehow makes it aboard ship.
That's good -- which one is not like the others. One Canadian blogger calls F-35 the Flying Butterball. Impressive side RCS too, except all those radar rays are absorbed by magic paint, the story goes.
Or like an image from the near future.. 2 Chinese pilots in their J-10C escorting the F-35 outside their airspace. Just the F-35 fan boys believe its an "invisible" airplane.
Good one Superrhino! I can't wait when we get the first unvarnished stories from pilots facing F35 at Green Flag,etc.... LMT won't be able to keep the cover for ever and some Typhoon/Rafale or Gripen pilot will be more than happy to tell us how he shoot down the invisible 5th Gen F35 at Red Flag.
Would be interesting to have a photo comparison (even if it's a montage) of the F-35 vs the modern russian and chinese fighters. Anyone know where we could find one?
wow....two swans and a pelican flying in formation...

That F-35 looks like if needs to go on a "Weight watchers" diet relative to the Typhoon. How anyone can think this plane is a fighter is crazy.
ReplyDeleteJoint Strike Fatboy!

DeleteI'm pretty sure in those exercises the F-35 will hanging up plenty of stuff outside to keep it's real RCS as "top secret"....
