Blast from the past. Viggen in a hardened shelter.

    1. I saw the same pattern on a WW2 Spitfire but instead of gray it was blue, nice pattern though for a Jet.

    1. All Viggens have the capability to fold the fins due to be easier stored at low hangars. There was even a rumor that this ability was also installed for possible future carrier use.

    2. Maximum hight for trucks or buses in the EU is 4 m. In case of a conflict the Viggen could be hidden and maintained in any bigger bus or truck depots or highway bridges .

      The Gripen is only 4.5 m high. It might be possible that the upper tip of the stabilizer is foldable or easy to remove.

  3. Glad this force was never needed, total war on a National scale of course if they just sat out WW3 I doubt there would have been a need. Then again just being a NATO member state made them targets.
