If you watched the vid then you can clearly see the Russian Flag flying from the from the truck leading the convoy.
Oh and if you think the vid is fake then none other than the US Govt has verified it. Three of the tanks were destroyed before they got very far into Ukraine but the implications are clear.
We're about to see multiple disruptive events in different parts of the world.
The boogey man in all this is China. Will they see the perceived weakness in US foreign policy and decide now is the time to act?
Iran going to Baghdad now seems more plausible than China into Scarborough/Paracel/Diayou and any little gibberish named island.
ReplyDeleteI cant believe I said that......Who would have thought even a week back of Iranian possible expansion being more plausible than Russian/Chinese Expansion.
In this ever changing world, I actualy sometimes feel some Pity for Obama. Its like every morning he wakes up and goes to the breakfast table for some delicious Fried Egg (sunny side up), some sausages, strips of bacon, grilled parmesan oregano bread with cheese, breakfast fries and some coffee.....and then opens up the CIA confidential report or the NYT, whichever is more accurate, he finds a new country getting fucked up. How many countries can the US support ?.....how many Troops is obama supposed to deploy ?
Just take a back of the envelope calculation before Solomon of AM or Don Bacon do the actual math (Scenario- Obama deploys troops everywhere to avoide critisism of non-action).......
Delete1.) Had the US and Iraq signed an troop extention agreement beyond 2011, that would have led Obama to perpetually deploy 20-30,000 troops till this day ? My figures may be wrong so feel free to correct them in the following posts. Then if anything went wrong, and they periodically do, 30,000 more surge troops ?
2.) Afghanistan- the numbers and agreements are there for all to see. Safe to assume that if something ISIS like happens further surge troops needed ?
3.) Nigeria- Any bodies guess.
4.) Syria- If US troops were to intervene boots on the ground or not, thousands would still be needed ultimatly to contain the fall out to neighbouring countries.
5.) Ukraine- A division equivalent of Marines and a Army Division along with a Brigade of Paratroopers with a Carrier Task Force. Airforce deployment is anyones guess.
6.) Libya- Anyones guess.
8.) Phillipines/Vietnam- Anyones guess
9.) South Sudan- Take a number and get in que
10.) Surprise cross border Israeli Attack on Syria- Fuck
11.) Surprise Israeli Attack on Iran Alleged Nuclear Facility- (...................)
See, how many presidential breakfasts have been FUBAR'd because people cant get along with each other. All that bacon, wasted.
Typo- Thats Solomon or AM, rather than Solomon of AM
DeleteSomewhere out there is a troop of Apache pilots licking their chops. Have you ever seen a more succulent Hellfire target, right out in the open, on a city boulevard?
ReplyDeleteOh right, Russia invades with three tanks. Uh-huh. sure.
ReplyDeleteno not an invasion but it does sound like a probing mission. testing Ukrainian reaction, time to react and what weapons they'll use etc...
DeleteDon the main question is rather, how they did that? How group of TANKS cross a border and Russian Border Guards do absolutely nothing. Those are I will say it again... TANKS, not cars, not trucks, not bicycles but TANKS.
DeleteThis is T-64 tanks, that was all scrapped in Russia last year. Those tanks on video was captured by insurgents from Ukranian "National Guard".
ReplyDeleteT-64BV to be more correct. The National Guard don't use tanks, those ones had been highly probably captured by Russians on Crimea from 36. Shore Defense Brigade. Some of them Russians send back on Ukraine main land but some left, those probably are them.
ReplyDelete"Three of the tanks were destroyed before they got very far into Ukraine but the implications are clear."
ReplyDeleteNo, they weren't. Kiev is claiming they destroyed 2 of the tanks at their border but as the video indicates all three tanks are fine. Also Russia has no T-64 in stock anymore last once were scrapped in 2012. Also russia never operated those T-64 models. US State Department making a fool of themselves yet again.. Or just very bad at propaganda.
So far The US State Department published a photo of Chechen GRU officer Khamzat Gayrbekov in Georgia 2008, and claimed it was Terek Cossack Alexander Mozhaev in Slaviansk 2014 even though the resemblance was superficial at best. That turned out to be the result of extremely laughable Twitter Photoshop memes. It's mindblowing.
They also showed a photo of a group of Cossacks in Slaviansk 2014 and claimed it was a photo from Georgia 2008, in order to compare it to another photo from Slaviansk 2014 and imply that the same people were in "both" places. Seriously.
Basically it was a string of outrageously bad and contrived "intel" to be frank, and they mindlessly relayed it (it originated with the proven mythomaniacs in Kiev).
Likewise, the US State Department mindlessly relayed the outrageously silly Kiev "theories" about a rebel MANPADS missile that went awry and exploded 18 times in succession in a 300 feet long path, laying waste to a community park in Lugansk and killing about a dozen people, including five women. This even though it was crystal clear that the series of explosions were caused by an Ukrainian Su-25 that launched a volley of S-8KO unguided rockets with the intention of striking the Lugansk City Hall where some of the LPR administrative people were working. Kiev denied it, and that was enough for the US State Department to mindlessly follow suit.
This is no different from those proven lies. The tanks are Ukrainian-made, Ukrainian-operated T-64BVs that were captured on June 9th outside Lugansk after an intense clash between rebels and the Ukrainian army, as reported Monday this week. These tanks were reported being refurbished by Kiev at the Lviv Mechanical Maintenance Plant a few weeks ago, and sent to Eastern Ukraine last week. The destroyed BM-21 that the US State Department claims came from Russia was also an Ukrainian-operated ditto that was attacked by a rebel group outside the town of Dobropolye and subsequently put out of action, forcing the Ukrainians to abandon it.
This has been going on ever since this whole mess began. Hell, it all began with extremely silly allegations, such as US and Kiev officials claiming that obvious (to anyone who knows a bit about the Kalash) mid-1980's Soviet AK-74s were hypermodern Russian Spetsnaz "AK-100s" (a model that does not even exist, by the way) and so on.
Details on the "Russian tanks" here.
ReplyDeleteState, Jun 13 2014
ReplyDeleteIn the last three days, a convoy of three T-64 tanks, several BM-21 or Grad multiple rocket launchers, and other military vehicles crossed from Russia into Ukraine near the Ukrainian town of Snizhne. This is unacceptable. Poroshenko protested this action yesterday with President Putin, and Secretary Kerry raised our concerns with Foreign Minister Lavrov on Wednesday as well.
Liars.
DeleteSep 5, 2013 - “We talk with these people. We assume that they are decent. But he lies,” Putin said of Kerry's drive to go to war [in Syria], according to Time Magazine.
