  1. I think France is trying to show Canada that they too can have a More Modernize Navy than the ones they have now. I pretty much think the Mistral class LHA, The La Fayette-class frigate, FREMM Frigate and Scorpène-class submarine would suit Canada's needs

    1. Nothing wrong with a FREMM, Mistral, Scorpene combo for the RCN. Although I can't see the RCN mission justifying a Mistral at the moment.

  2. La fayette are outdated... Now it's FREMM and Gowind. Canada is stuck with British domestic iron : France and Germany have good Subs avaivable immediatly for Canada.Same thing with Surface vessels. Usa don't sell subs, don't have new frigate design, but have lobbys : Is the Canada still the 52th state ?

  3. I won't be surprised if the Canadian Government would be considering the F-35B like Australia to operate from those mini carriers. That could reinforce their argument to buy it.
