It's look big for a classic 8x8 IFV Mr.T, if we take a remote turret and driver hatch as reference it's show pretty big size. RPG screens were almost always and ad on, improvisation in most cases, this one is design from the scratch as integral part. Probably removable but still it's not something that boys weld in forward workshop.
But what kind of transport you mean? Airborne, most of updated IFV after Iraq and Afgan missions are too heavy to be pack on to planes ( only the biggest heavy lifters can ride with them but not too many of that class planes out there ) to be wide in that situation is not a problem.
Well, someone can translate what sirokuma089 write? Google translate create some abomination without any sense for me. I only can deduce that this vehicle weight 20 tons and it;s build by Komatsu... or something, or even I get everything wrong.
Looks very interesting, integral RPG barrier design from the beginning as part of vehicle. Waiting for some more info.
ReplyDeleteI don't think ts really a heavy IFV (an more than typical 8x8) nor is the screen integral as vehicles with RPG screens are to wide for transport.
