Venezuela is still on fire in case you forgot about the issues in that country.
Mildred Manrique's Twitter stream has the best coverage of the events there and I highly recommend you follow her. The photos you see above are from her site. The first is simply a policeman on patrol, the second is an injured officer being cared for by comrades and the last is an image of barricades at their international airport.
The world is burning and no one is noticing.
Yes, the world is burning and at war is this more than before?
ReplyDeleteI had heard it said if the US pulls out of world affairs and ends the war in Iraq and Afghanistan there would break out bluebirds and daffodil's of world peace.
I guess that was illogical and somewhat idealistic not to mention naïve.
World is burning but at the same time various players are pouring gasoline on fire.
ReplyDeleteVenezuela is going to see a coup sooner than later unless US decides the mess in Ukraine is enough ,as Venezuela is probably the country with most intense subversive activity by US sponsored Ngo's , Chavez was probably more of a thorn to US in South America than Castro ever was ,in Chaveze's time US lost much of its grip on most of South American countries.Plus lets not forget Venezuela has Oil lots of it.
