"...We got back our heroes.”

They got back their heroes and we got back a deserter.  I know you've already seen this but check it out anyway from Yahoo News...
“After arriving in Qatar, Noorullah Noori kept insisting he would go to Afghanistan and fight American forces there,” the commander told NBC News.
Last Saturday, Obama announced the release of Mohammad Fazl, Mohammed Nabi, Khairullah Khairkhwa, Abdul Haq Wasiq and Noori in exchange for Bergdahl, who was captured by the Taliban in eastern Afghanistan after he disappeared from his Army platoon on June 30, 2009......
They will reportedly be monitored, but are free to move throughout Qatar.
“We thought we may not see them again as once you land in the hands of Americans, it’s difficult to come out alive,” said Noori’s relative, according to the NBC News report. “But it was a miracle that Allah Almighty gave us Bergdahl and we got back our heroes.”
Between saying outright that he will continue the fight against the US and Afghan govt forces, we have guaranteed that Afghanistan will destabilize in the future.

Worse.  Reports indicate that the Taliban and Haqqani Network now believe that kidnapping American personnel is profitable.

This was an idiotic decision.  Bergdahl wasn't worth it.

  1. Compare and contrast that with the situation here in the UK. It is known that we have fellow citizens who have gone to fight with the Taliban for a few months, then come home to the UK, drive a taxi or work in a takeaway (take out) ** while on R and R, and then go back to the front as it were.

** Probably get drunk, eat bacon butties, and sh*g white women probably with their wife's (wives', polygamy is an accepted practice here amongst that community as long as they aren't discovered.)

    1. Steve.....ouch, thats a very racist way of putting across your point however valid/invalid it might be. Anyway, decadance is a part of a rich society. You may have depression or econimic stagnation in the west but that is still a lot better that what most people in the world have. And about being drunk, eating bacon and shagging white women and other kinds of decadance, i bet plenty of white/black/chinese/indian wall street and london finance people indulge in similar kind of decadant acts. And yes, lets stick to the point of the really unbalanced prisoner/desserter exchange here rather than non-sence mullah bashing.

  2. Empires rise and then they fall....

i wonder if this is just an inevitable situation. the country is being invaded by illegal immigrants, more people are interested in celebrity gossip than national security, russia is on the march, china is on the march, we just gave back people that want to kill americans and yet the "elite" still insist on defending Obama....

    i just don't get it..

    1. The trouble is our elites live in a different world. Their ideas don't effect them. Make a change to the education system because your children go to private schools. Make a change to the health system because you use private health care. Let who you want into the country because you live in a large house in large grounds not cheek by jowl with others. And so on.

    2. IMHO, what makes this the second most dangerous time in American history is that there is no one standing in the middle calling all of this into question. Everyone is polarized. The media is largely owned by this government as is Hollywood and education.

So we have no gentle corrections, only radical ones.

The Obama-lovers will never accept blame. Nor will they change. The cult of American Liberalism is a suicide pact. Just look at Detroit if you disagree... Has anyone on the left asked "what have we done here?" Nope. When the ACA was reported to do more harm than good, how did Democrats respond? By doubling down.

Republicans are no better as they too are marginalizing anyone who wants to put this into check and honor the Constitution. They seem to be willing participants who make a lot of noise but do nothing.

No matter what, the America we knew is dead and not coming back.

  3. Recall the statements of before by this group of progressive leftist liberals and anti military folks.
"We support the troops when they kill their leaders."
Bergdahl is the type of soldier the left, democrats, liberals, Hollywood and the Progs consider heroes.
Traitors, and soldiers who rescue national monuments of other nations.
Meanwhile Obama goes to the Normandy commemoration and memorial chewing gum and talking smack.
These and Bergdahl are their heroes.
Their enemies are the men who did not desert, did not turn traitor, and killed their own fellow soldiers.
    I believe they call them....psychopaths.
Takes one to know one I guess.

SEND JOHN FORBES KERRY, HILLARY RODHAM CLINTO AND NANCY PELOSI....NOW!
It's the only way to be sure and damn if that won't stop this in it's tracks, >Snicker< and they thought Bergdahl was a whiny ast bitch.

    1. i know that you know the deal but people are going to die because of this decision. good people, honorable people, people that will be trying to help populations....if you want to fear for American servicemembers then be scared for the drama that is coming in Africa.....

Triple Canopy and Xe have contracting opportunities in Ghana, Nigeria and other countries.;..you're about to see guys captured, ransomed and if they're lucky sick for the rest of their lives as they rehab....if they're not lucky they're going to be hacked to pieces and fed to hyenas.

  5. I am still trying to figure out what went in Obama's head to authorize such a dis-balanced prisoner exchange. Who put this idea in his head, who advised him and for what agenda was this deal carried out ?....is it part of the "negotiations with the Taliban" agenda ? You know, when people say that the value of a human life cannot be calculated, its priceless..............guess what, now we know how many taliban are worth one serviceman.
