I wonder if this guy is related to Cdr Salamander?  Anyway, its a fascinating read and while things aren't as bad today, the similarities are striking.  Read it all here.

    Let's assume this is true, and that they have the spare parts and maintenance required to fly these Mig-21s they captured.

    What would be their target be? My bet is Mosul Dam.
