“Those folks can go home at some point,” Dempsey said of Europeans that have joined the ISIS movement. “It’s why I have conversations with my European colleagues about their southern flank of NATO, which I think is actually more threatened in the near term than we are. Nevertheless, because of open borders and immigration issues, it’s… an immediate threat.”Read the story here.
Stick a fork in immigration reform before the midterms. If Obama does any "executive actions" he's going to be immediately AND effectively attacked.
I can see all kinds of campaign ads that use his JCS to just slaughter Democrats at the polls.
Immigration reform. Not this year.
Well, the video is removed so I don't know what's going on, but what I can tell you is that Obama is laying ground for a perpetual Democratic control of the White House.
ReplyDeleteThe GOP burned too many bridges with Hispanics to become a viable national party, because Hispanics will have become life-time Democratic voters like African-American voters of the 60s.
So make it a short-term loss, but a long-term gain, because the demography clock decisively favors the Democrats.
It always amazes me; how the democratic party became synonymous with minority rights and civil liberties. The Democrats were the ones strictly opposed to civil and minority rights in the 60's. The republicans were the party that pressed and drafted the bills that were signed by President (begrudgingly) Johnson. The Democrats still to this day want to enslave Hispanics and African Americans with their entitlement programs, while the demonize the right for trying to take them away, hence ensuring their freedoms. It doesn't matter who gets elected, because politicians only true interest is retain their jobs, which they do by giving shining (entitlements or projects) things to their constitutes. People are retarded!
