Police in Garwood, New Jersey, ordered that a militant flag associated with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) be removed from the front of a local home after hundreds of online activists expressed fear and revulsion.If NSA is actually doing its job then these people would be monitored 24/7. Additionally the FBI Counter Terrorism Task Force should be launching a full investigation into these clowns. Immigration and Customs should be investigating their immigration status.
Garwood Police Chief Bruce D. Underhill confirmed to theWashington Free Beacon that officers had been contacted and residents at the suburban home “voluntarily” agreed to remove the flag.
A photo of the home with the ISIL and Turkish flags was tweeted out Tuesday morning and quickly attracted hundreds of retweets and comments.
Underhill told the Free Beacon that the police are aware of the situation and are working to uphold the public safety.
The problem? I doubt any of that is happening.
My worry? This is just the tip of the iceberg. ISIS is here. We've been told that sleeper cells exist. Its only a matter of time before they attack.
Sol, odd request, while we're on the subject of homegrown threats I was wondering what you would recommend putting in a bug out bag? I'm building my own at the moment, but I'm sure you're probably a lot farther ahead and better studied than I am.

ReplyDeleteAnd an unfortunate display of ISIS flags also happened in Kashmir. Luckily the politicians, priests, elders and other opinion setters in Kashmir were aghast at the few people who did unfurl that flag. The Indian State and its Govt. Machinery didnt have to do much because the society around them bullyied them into wrapping it up.
Kashmiri Sufi, Salafist version of Sunni Islam dont mix well with the Wahhabis. Neither do the Deobandis mix well with Wahhabis.
The problem is... How do you separate a radical from a normal muslin?

ReplyDeleteIt does seem that we are not prepared due to political correctness. Our security agencies are not allowed to profile the enemy as this will infringe on their human rights, but they have no qualms about scrutinizing old ladies and babies at our airports.

Leader of the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, left the Iraqi city of Mosul a few days ago and headed for Syria, in light of aerial attacks launched with the United States.
A source indicated that al-Baghdadi left Mosul accompanied by 30 Hummer SUVs. These reports have yet to be confirmed by any official source.

ReplyDeleteI like how many blogs read "ordered" to take the flag down, and "voluntarily" took the flag down in quotes.I read an interview with the homeowner that when police told him he may want to take his flag down because someone tweeted the photo and address of his house he was more than happy to take it down for fear.
