Saudi Arabia’s head of state King Abdullah issued a dire warning to the West if they choose to ignore the Muslim extremist group the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).Forgive the tinfoil hat I have on but....
“If we ignore them, I am sure they will reach Europe in a month and America in another month,” Abdullah said at a Friday diplomatic ceremony and later quoted by Saudi television.
“Terrorism knows no border and its danger could affect several countries outside the Middle East,” he continued. “You see how they [jihadists] carry out beheadings and make children show the severed heads in the street.”
“It is no secret to you, what they have done and what they have yet to do. I ask you to transmit this message to your leaders: ‘Fight terrorism with force, reason and [necessary] speed’,” he declared, according to an Agence France Press report.
Isn't it funny that as soon as we get out of the Middle East, the American people are fed up with this "freeing masses of people that won't free themselves", and getting our (on certain projects) outrageous defense spending under control....Another threat pops up that we MUST deal with?
I think the lunatics in ISIS need to be killed...the bellies ripped out so they can feed the catfish....but the idea that they will be in Europe in a month? In the US in two?
Not freaking likely. Oh and don't give me the "they're already here, just look at the Westerners that have gone to fight with them routine" either. Unless the NSA, FBI, MI-6 and other agencies are idiots then those people are being tracked and I imagine worse.
I think we're all getting played. The industrial defense complex needs to be fed and ISIS is the meal ticket.
Sidenote: Lets get another thing straight. The monarchy in Saudi Arabia is under far more threat than we are. They're scared shitless, and to me this statement proves it.
Please, send a bunch of black-hooded @$$clowns in a conga-line of Toyota pickup trucks to America to institute jihad.
ReplyDeleteIt could fill in the long gap between the end of football season, and opening day of hunting season.
Personally, I doubt after the first round, the supply of ISIS hereabouts could fulfill the demand for trophies.
But yes, ISIS undoubtedly scares the crap out the House of Saud, because they know somewhere out there there's a open field and a train of knuckleheads waiting to send them to eternity.
ReplyDeleteHey Saudis, how about you do something then? Gods know you have a large enough military with modern gear, so do something for yourself you oil loving, cash swimming monarch.
ReplyDelete-John
Exactly. We've giving them the arms. I'm starting to wonder if their army is full of people unwilling to fight like Iraq's is.
DeleteExactly what I was wondering. The Saudis have more than enough money to fund a serious, long campaign. They have a lot of modern weapons. So why don't they step up and at least initiate and contribute to the effort?
DeleteSaudis have long solved their domestic issues with cash bags, this might now come back to bite them ,in the pasts house of Saud financed just about every terrorist organistion and 'islamist' cause as long as they stay out of Saudi Arabia . Remember who were the guys on 9/11 ,Saudis ,there were no Afghanis that got bombed in return.
DeleteThey have the gear, but not the men and the will. I don't think they will send their ''National Guard'' and I'm maybe wrong but a lot of their pilots are foreigners, pakistanis for example, and their logistics are based on western expertise.
DeleteThe way they fight is funding others to do the ugly job, and now they have at their gates fanatics wich have been funded by some neighboring countries (nobody is looking at Qatar) and by...Saudi Arabia, at least ''individuals'' (read princes of the house of Saud)...wich is highly ironic.
Of course the problem is that the house of Saud would be replaced, in an invasion/revolution event, by even more fanatic and anti-western elements...
ISIS in America? Uhum..... In Europe, maybe but not in America.
ReplyDeleteIf one of these dudes shot at someone in an american city... The next day we will see muslims hanging all over the country, guilty or not.
Saudi king and princes know that if ISIS should up at their doors, not likely that many Saudi citizens and all those poor bastards that are slaves from Pakistan, Philippians, etc would fight to protect their rich harems. I think they are scared sh#tless of ISIS and are trying to figure out a way to get US military to save their castles and wifes....
ReplyDeleteYou know what would be a really good twist if this were a thrilling novel? If the military industrial complex was somehow indirectly funding ISIS. That would just make for a twisted ending.
ReplyDeleteI hope it's not true in real life, but it would be pretty cool to see in a novel of some sort.
it's amusing that first you fund that damn thing, but then when it turns on you and wants to visit Meka, you start to cry "wolf is coming"... My personal guess is that Saudi Arabia would fall like a house of cards when ISIL knocks on their doors.
ReplyDeleteAlso, don't you find it interesting ISIL never said anything about Israel?
Once the house of Saud falls all other gulf emirates follow ,as aholes are no very popular outisde the couple of % of the population that benefits from them rest hate them.
DeleteThey have spoken about Israel, but I think they know better than to attack the strongest armed force in the region. That will probably be their last goal, right after they conquer the rest.

ReplyDeletesorry for off:
ReplyDeletehttp://robertlindsay.wordpress.com/2014/08/29/war-spreading-to-transcarpathia/
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carpathian_Ruthenia#Demographics
also, coincidence: https://www.defenseindustrydaily.com/hungary-sells-t-72-tanks-to-026666/
Not a coincidence... while there's plausible deniality coming from Russia supplying the rebels with heavy military hardware, it's pretty much no secret about old soviet stuff going to Ukraine from ex-soviet satellites as they buy more western technology.
Delete" In the west, there are many Hungarians who still speak their language. They also want out of the new Ukraine.
DeleteThe Transcarpathian region, known as Zakarpattye Oblast, declared their independence from Ukraine a long time ago, but not much followed from there. Recent reports said that half the oblast was in open rebellion, armed with checkpoints everywhere that won’t let you past unless they know you. Then we heard that the junta had sent an army detachment into the region. Not much was heard after that.
A large number of recruits from Transcarpathia recently defected from the war zone in the east."
Not because of that link but in general, the hungarians love to claim land, they do it everyday officialy, its like, a guy steals your watch then he sues you for wanting it back.
The want Transcarpathia and i mentioned that "coincidence" because maybe there is a probability that those hungarian tanks went into Transcarpathia so the hungarians would start a fire there.
That's the part the media doesn't cover. It started some time ago already.
They have now maybe 40,000 Fighters in syria and iraq, when they took mosul they had maybe a quarter of that, if that. These are professional Jihadists not local militias. They have a lot of momentum, muslims are flocking to them in droves, the real threat is that they start taking more dirt, linking up with more groups, that they go over to other muslim countries and do the same thing, like a domino effect, and under that circumstance we could legitimately see the rise of such a bloc.
ReplyDeleteKeeping in mind much of these militaries are heavily armed, if they can get controll of the equipment then they will be a big threat. Particularly some of these arab countries which have the ability to make nuclear weapons.
