This is the burning news on some of the sites that I frequent.
It would make sense that with porous borders, ISIS will be able to get inside the country with little problem. All this does is reinforce the idea of carrying everyday.
Additionally since I've been using a Glock 26 w/10 round magazine, I'll use my adapter to start using G19 mags in it instead...along with a spare 15 rounder and keep a 33 rounder in my daily carry bag.
The incompetence of the people in D.C. is not to be underestimated. Bovine waste product is bound to hit the fan sooner or later. Its inevitable.
Ok, they got 4. How many passed and no one knows where they are?
ReplyDeleteI have an FNX-45 with 15 rounds of .45 in each magazine. I need to get my concealed carry still, but I have it in my bug out bag with five more magazines. I'm in Western Florida which I think is far too country to be a real target for any terrorist attack. In any case, if I move to a major city I'd keep it close every time I visited the shopping malls or major football stadiums. The idea that the government could protect me is laughable. If I was in a mall or stadium and it came under attack from a terrorist from ISIS, assuming the ISIS guys are well trained as well as they are in the middle east, they would make short work of any security guards and might be able to equally match LEO's nearby (that of course depends on the LEO). Every individual is their own best security.
ReplyDeleteYup on the 33 round mag. Flexibility great advantage of that weapon.
ReplyDeleteSo if a terrorist does infiltrate the USA and then steps into a gun shop, will he be able to buy a semi-automatic rifle, pistols, night vision equipment, kevlar and balistic steel or nomex without providing for ID and other verification documents ?
ReplyDeletenot according to the law. but he can buy a 3/4 ton truck or bigger, fertilizer, diesel fuel and get a drivers lic to park it in front of any govt building, school or mall and detonate it. additionally he can go to wallmart and buy a pressure cooker, nails, ball bearings and other devices to set it off.
Deleteyou focus on firearms.
the real threat lies in many other areas. besides. if they cross the border they can get all the weapons they want with the right amount of money...and that includes grenade launchers, anti-tank missiles etc...just find the right guy in the Mexican Army and you're good.
The real threat is not the weapons they might use but the people they might be able to infiltrate back into the US ... If There are american citizens among those terrorists, people with a clean record who have stayed under the radar, they can get firearms just like any law abiding citizen according to the law of the State they're in. Also considering the Mumbai and Nairobi Attacks, I would say firearm attacks in public places, potentially combined with booby traps or IEDs left on their path might be a very real threat. That's what most of western Intelligence agencies and Swat teams have been working on recently in connection with possible terrorist threats, it's called a Mass terrorist attack or mass hostage taking with " suicide commando" ... Better be ready without getting paranoid about it
DeleteA water gun full of something wicked is all it takes, that and the large amount of chlorine used at water plants nation wide, some with only one operator over seeing the plant at night, hell in that case only a good wrench would do mass harm.
DeleteYou do know there are no dangerous weapons?
Only Dangerous minds and a little intelligence with a bad heart.
Add opposable thumbs and you got death on the hoof.
And speaking of Terrorist Inflitrators.....did you hear the news out of Australia about the arrest of 15 ISIS suspects-
ReplyDeletehttps://townhall.com/tipsheet/danieldoherty/2014/09/18/report-major-terrorist-attack-plot-thwarted-in-australia-n1893492
800 policemen in co-ordinated effort arrested these ISIS wannabees who wanted to start this beheading campaign in Australia itself.
I've recently upgraded my go to, from an M-640 S&W to the Gov series 70 .45.
ReplyDeleteMost folks I know who have weapons have them at ready now more than ever.
The M-640 is the wife's pistol now.
