1st LAR on exercise...photos by Lance Cpl. Garrett White




NOTE:  Keep an eye on units like LAR.  If they get deployed to Western Africa...even if its to augment the SPMAGTF-CR...then you're looking at a mission change from "disaster relief" to nation building/stabilization.

    One thing a missed, The LAV-25 I wonder how different this is from our mechanized patrolling tactics using 6 x 6 trucks?
    I know the force protection assets are there but are the tactics the same.
