Ok, don't know if you can see the above screen capture from a WoT game I had ... oh and yeah. Some 12 year old kid smacked me senseless, killed my tank and talk shit while he was doing it....but how come I didn't get "high caliber"?
Just curious. In a losing effort I had one of my better games (yep, again, I know! but for me a 3k game is in the "awesome" range) and the whole team sucked but still!

ReplyDeleteIf I remember correctly, you must make damage more than 20% of combined enemy HP for "High caliber". TIer 8 game with HT - 4,5-5k damage.
It really sucks when you have a good game but your team sucks and you loose but to your question. There was thought to be a bug in WOT but this guy on a forum figured it out on not getting high calibre. Quote: Awarded to players who dealt the biggest amount of damage during the battle. The damage dealt should be not less than 20% of enemy team tanks' HP sum, and not less than 1000 points. For receiving this award, allies should not be hit with direct shots. If two or more players have an equal amount of damage dealt, the achievement is granted to the player who has earned more XP for battle, including additional XP provided to Premium account users. If the amount of XP is equal as well, the achievement is not granted

DeleteToo bad the ping difference between Indian Brazilian servers is humongous. Could have gone a couple of rounds of Conquest and Obliteration together.

I prefers WT over WoT for that dose of realism I like, it's not like I play in full simulator mode but even in arcade mode WT is more realistic for me then the best mode in WoT. No health bar, rather small number of prototypes planes, better models, definitely lack of situations Sol' describe. Yeah, sometimes you meet that backstabbing mutherfuckers that will shoot you down because some childish behavior. Maybe WT is not that big as WoT but in overall expiration is just WT quality over WoT quantity.
But you know, whatever you like.

yeah i'm a tomato but i've finally stepped back and watched game play. those so called unicoms and great players all sit back during the first five minutes of games...even if they're in heavy tanks they play like tds till everyone else is knocked back because of the tomatoes hitting each other and then they get involved.
Deletetimes when they could step in and help they don't and then they...like you...sit back and talk shit. it really bothered me and i'd cuss and fuss with the best of them. a replay from last night chilled me out and now i just marvel, call them scared pussies that would be charged for cowardice before the enemy in my mind and move on to the next game.
the tomato callers and arty are the biggest threat to this game. people will quit because they switch from enjoying the game to worrying about stats. i hope WoT gets a handle on that or else they're going to lose it all and its gonna go back to being just a Russian/Europe game.
That and gold rounds. That shit fuck up the game to me.
DeleteAs far I remember (I don't play the game quite a long time) a "high calibre" medal is given only to one play from both teams. If someone in an enemy team gets this medal you can't receive it.
