    1. back in world war 2 they would be called Landing Ship Mediums, in the modern era some nations are calling them Landing Ship Tanks or simply Landing Platform Docked. LSM is the proper designation in my mind but who knows! maybe Slowman will fill us in on the Korean designation.

That landing drill is called the "Tsushima landing" drill conducted near Tsushima and raised a strong Japanese protest. The ROK war plan is to land on Tsushima should newly militaristic Japan decide to take military actions against the Liancourt Rocks and use Tsushima as a bargaining chip.

Mitsubishi joined the General Dynamics ACV program. Will develop a propulsion system and electronics on a General Dynamics chassis.

  4. my quesrion is this , why south korea need US protection when their armed forces are totally capable to stop north korean invasion ? and why south korean seem to be scared of japan instead of noks ? the koreans experienced terrible yoke under japanese rule, maybe it is a inglering bitterness among koreans, but it seems korean want to be on par with japanese military, not gearing toward another conflict with Noks..
